User Interface
The user interface makes use of tap and swipe gestures.
Car Configuration
To configure the car tap on the car picture in the top right corner. Select the Brand/ Model and Version of your car. The state-of-charge (SoC) can be configured by tapping the battery symbol in the upper left corner. Selection of car and state-of-charge can be done any time again to adjust for current car state. When calculating a route the current phone location is used.
Find charging stations
To find chargers near you tap on Find Chargers. If required open and adjust the settings by clicking on the settings switch. To search for nearby chargers press the globe symbol. A list with all found charging stations will appear. Click on one of the items to put map zoom on current position and charging station location. Initiate a drag motion on the desired charging station to open menu and send item to car if an account was linked
Plan your route
Plan your route by entering and selecting the destination and waypoints in the upper search bar. By selecting and then re-tapping a waypoint the order of waypoints can be re-sorted. To start route calculation tap the globe symbol.
Link your Tesla account
A linked car permits you to use the current location and state-of-charge for route calculation. Also basic commands, such as open chargeport can be send.
Chargepoints, routelegs and full routes can be directly send ot the car. To link an account go to settings and select "Link Tesla Account".
Follow the login procedure. Once linked it might take a few seconds before all information is loaded. On the main screen you can select each car that
has been attached to your account by tapping on the cars name in the center of the top section. The generic simulation car will still be available

No, since VoltVoyager relies on a high quality, paid backend we need to forward some of the costs
to the end-user. There is a monthly subscription required to use the app.
There is a broad selection of EV and hybrid car brands and types available. You can verify the availability of your car in the free seciton of the app.
Some features are only available when a real car(currently limited to Tesla) is linked to the app.
If linking isn't working as intended, please check that you have permitted your car to share the location. The used API is frequently changed, in case of recent changes it might need a new version of VoltVoyager to incorporate those changes.
Disable the on-board route-planner of your Tesla. This can be done in settings.
The application will prevent further calls to the routeplanner and chargepoint finder services.
In case no real car is linked or the car's location isn't available VoltVoyager will use
your phone's location to determine the starting point of the route calculation and the center for the charging station finder.

The information is processed anonymized and can't be related to a specific user of the app. The storage (if any) of the information is solely on the used device.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use

acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot
guarantee its absolute security.

When submitting the form you agree that your information (Full name, e-mail address, IP, message) is transfered and stored for the duration of the conversation. All personal information will be deleted no later than 1 month after form was send.
